An exclusive soirée, a room full of powerful rivals, and one shocking invention (a special sex toy) that turns decorum into debauchery. But when the party ends with a body on the floor, secrets unravel faster than the guests can hide their guilty pleasures. In Digital Playground’s Scandalous series, a glamorous party hosted by tech mogul Fortune Frey (Ella Hughes) turns from champagne and cutting-edge ‘sex toys’ to a full-blown murder mystery, with a lineup of powerful suspects who have more than just skeletons in their closets.

Scandalous Overview

As always, rich people have to get retarded. It is like half of them are emo teenagers, and in that half, we find the main protagonist, Fortune Frey (Ella Hughes). But, no, not just her, oh no. There is the prime minister in the left corner, then the chancellor drinking with a hooker, and, of course, the queen (of who knows what). So, quite a bunch that had nothing better to do than attend a sex toy fashion show. Parliament has blocked the new bill? Fuck if I care! Anyhow, the series starts close to the finish, with a detective, dressed as British as possible, questioning the host about the murder. However, Ms. Frey had an impeccable alibi: banging the buttler (Xander Corvus), while having a butt plug that looks like a flashlight. I’ll say only one thing about that scene: Ella Hughes performing anal and A2M. That is enough. 

Next on the line for the detective (Danny D.) is the prime minister Elixa Max (Catherine Knight), who now has to admit adultery in a threesome at an orgy party. Fuck, imagine the guy doing the paperwork for this shit. Anyhow, in this episode besides having the pleasure of watching Catherine Knight with Juan Lucho and Marina Maya, we also understand what Fortuna Frey wished to reveal: an ordinary dildo. Imagine voting for an official who gets that excited over a rubber dildo. Lady, you must not be a queen or a prime minister to buy that. 

Following, the unsatisfying testimony of the prime minister, Detective Perron has to move to the toughest suspect and the prime one. It is no other than Queen Vivia Elle (Valentina Nappi) who could not expect less than special treatment for her royal majesty. However, Perron is having none of it as she is the main suspect in the murder of Chancellor Crispin Nye. Although, in the center of this mystery, she only bore witness to strange acts of (only) kidnapping the chancellor. Yet, she was getting railed by the butler, so, she thought it might be a gimmick. With each witness, Perron is closer to unpuzzling the enigma and getting to the bottom of the chancellor’s death.

Scandalous is a great mini-series. The costumes are fabulous and portray the old-fashioned elite perfectly, a bit too much old-fashioned, but still okay. The acting was again superb, which makes me wonder if something is changing in Silicon Valley. All in all, a frank and definite recommendation!
