Life Before Porn

Janine Lindemulder was born in California on November 14, 1968. She lost her virginity when she was 14-15 years old to her boyfriend of five months. She was always the pretty and hot blond girl, but her career didn’t start in the adult industry. Au contrary, she first began appearing in mainstream films, playing small parts (she usually played the dumb blond). But her mainstream film career wasn’t going well; all her performances were considered plain and bland. Soon she realized that she was not going to make it as a mainstream actress and decided to try her luck in the porn industry.

Porn Career

Janine graduated in 1986 and supported herself by working as a stripper. The following year she modeled for Penthouse Magazine, and had her debut in the December issue in 1987, as the Pet of the Month. After that she posed for Penthouse in the next ten years and was chosen as Pet of the Year Runner-Up for 1990. As upper mentioned she appeared in some mainstream films such as the 1988 Italian film titled Bersaglio sull’autostrada (translated as Moving Target in English-speaking countries). She was credited as Janine Linde. She also appeared in other low budget mainstream films, such as Spring Break USA and Caged Fury.

Her appearance in Penthouse helped her land a role in a video released by that company, titled Penthouse Satin & Lace, that featured various models from the magazine. From that point in her life, she decided to do porn. Janine had her debut in the 1992 feature Andrew Blake’s Hidden Obsessions. After that film, she had parts in two more adult movies before she joined Vivid Video (she became their exclusive “contract girl”). In her original Vivid Video contract, she agreed to perform in girl/girl scenes only. Her first Vivid release was titled Parlor Games; she has filmed more than fifty titles for this company. Besides filming pornographic films, she also worked as an exotic dancer with her fellow adult actress Julia Ann; they were dancing under the name duo Bondage.

In 1999, Janine decided to leave the adult film industry in order to pursue a career as a kindergarten teacher. Also, she stated that she wanted to spend more time with her child. Her retirement lasted till 2004 when she announced that she will make a comeback, promising her fans that she will start filming with both men and women. Again, she signed a contract with her former company, Vivid Video, and appeared in eight films. Her first boy/girl scene was with Nick Manning in the film Maneate. After her contract with Vivid Video ended, Janine signed with Digital Playground. In November of 2005, again she announced (on her personal website) that she is retiring. But the AVN she won in January of 2006 made her change her mind. Till this day she is active and films scenes with men and women. Her latest film is Janine Loves Jenna which debuted in April of 2007. Her co-star in that movie is Jenna Jamison.

Personal life

Although she is almost 50 years old, Janine doesn’t plan to retire. She looks incredibly hot and is classified in the category MILF. Her passions are tattoos and she has plenty of them on her body. She states that she is bi-sexual.

She was married to a former construction worker from 1988 to 1996 and had a baby in 1991, a son named Tyler. James. James who left her (for Sandra Bullock) in 2003, when she was seven months pregnant. Lindemulder had a daughter, Sunny James, on January 1, 2004. Janine is the cousin of adult performer and model Kelly Madison.
