Karenjit Kaur Vohra aka Sunny Leone is an actress, businesswoman, model and former pornographic actress. Sunny Leone began her career as an adult film actress and later became widely known in India after entering the reality show “Bigg Boss”. She was named Penthouse Pet of the Year in 2003, a contract star for Vivid Entertainment and one of the 12 top porn stars in 2010 by Maxim magazine. This ravishing and busty brunette appeared in many independent mainstream films and television shows besides “Bigg Boss” and became very popular and most-Googled name in India. Sunny Leone, a beautiful brunette of Indian ancestry, was born in Ontario, Canada, and grew up in loving and idyllic family atmosphere. She went to Catholic school because her parents felt it wasn’t safe for her to go to public school, and while growing up she was into sports, she used to play street hockey and ice skating. She had her first kiss at 11, lost her virginity to a basketball player at another school at 16, and discovered her bisexuality at age 18. In 1996 Sunny and her family moved to Southern California, and after graduating in 1999, she enrolled in a local junior college. While studying to be a pediatric nurse in Orange County, a classmate who was an exotic dancer introduced Sunny to John Stevens, an agent who in turn introduced her to Jay Allen, a photographer for Penthouse magazine, and that’s how she started her adult career. She was in the spotlight from the beginning, and in 2001 she was Penthouse Pet of the Month for the March 2001 issue and a Hustler Honey in the Holiday 2001 edition of Hustler magazine. In 2005 she was part of “No More Bush Girls”, and she shaved off her pubic hair in support of anti-Bush campaign. Couple of years later she underwent breast enhancement surgery.

Career

Sunny’s career began in 2001 when she started modeling for some noted magazines such as Penthouse and Hustler, and after couple of successful years she was named “Penthouse Pet of the Year” in 2003 and starred in the video Penthouse Pets in Paradise alongside Tera Patrick and Kyla Cole. In 2005 Sunny became West Coast Internet Sales Representative for Adam & Eve and signed a three-year contract with Vivid Entertainment, which was her gateway to hardcore pornography. At first she was making exclusively solo and lesbian scenes, and after few successful releases she won her first AVN Award for “Best Interactive DVD” (Virtual Vivid Girl Sunny Leone). Afterwards, Leone started working with other studios and developed her career, after signing contracts with some major online companies, which led to “Web Babe of the Year” at the 2008 Xbiz Awards. Next year she launched her own studio, Sunlust Pictures.  In addition to her film career, Leone has been part of the Vivid Comedy Tour, and has modeled for the Vivid Footwear collection. Leone has also participated in events like the Vivid/ClubJenna Lingerie Bowl and Vivid’s Hot Rod Night.
